The last week has been eventful, as always. From comedy singing with headphones on - cover your ears folks! - to getting soaked in "blood" that seeped out of a gaping wound in my neck as I was bound to a chair in a disused warehouse...
First up was shooting three character scenarios with Jon Cambourne to advertise a new music service to be launched across Europe. This meant learning songs and singing embarrassingly, with headphones on, which is guaranteed to put a smile on your face, if not perforate your eardrums!
Shooting the trailer footage for Lansky's Torment was a great experience. My character Andy is a ghostly apparition and I needed a good two or three hours in make-up to prepare for my most gruesome scene. I love this process, and never find it tedious. I've had burns make up (4 hours) for Sea of Fire on the BBC and beaten up make up (only an hour or so) for WPC56, also BBC. This time was the first non-BBC special effects make up, although I did find out that a few of the crew were BBC regulars themselves. I can't wait to see the final footage and will be sure to post it up here for all to enjoy!
